We have been wanting to go sledding all winter! It's the best way to enjoy all of the snow. We finally bought some cheap sleds at Walmart and decided to go one Saturday night. Of course, by the time we went most of the snow was frozen and the hill was solid ice. Whether we are older than we thought, or just dumb, we decided to sled down the icy hill. Neither one of us wanted to be the first one, so we went down at the same time. Eventually we both had to bail, because of the trees and speed of our sleds. Unfortunately, we both hit the ice hard and ended up with some huge bruises. I imagine the scene to be like the sledding trip in the movie "Christmas Vacation." After just laying on the ground for a while, we decided to go again. Once again, either we are just getting old or we are just stupid, but we went down a different part of the hill. The second part of the hill was not as steep, but twice as bumpy. Plastic sleds and bumps do not go over well for the backside. We called it quits after two runs!! Eventually, we will plan another trip but this time when it's snowy!
