I Love Easter! We had a wonderful Easter this year! Brooklyn went to an Easter party with her cousins at a preschool. Then we met up with the family for an outside BBQ and Easter egg hunt. In true family fashion, there was some tackling and fighting for the Gold and Silver Easter eggs.
Brooklyn absolutely loved the Easter eggs and the hunt! She thought everything about it was fun and wanted to more.
Easter Sunday was over Conference Weekend and that was the best! We did lots of Easter activities all weekend long. Brooklyn loved her Easter basket that had books, movies, Sophia the First doll, crayons, rubber duckies, stuffed animals, etc.
We also dyed eggs (we sponge painted fake eggs) and had a few Easter egg hunts. One day we had an Easter egg hunt with small animals/dinosaurs in the eggs. On Sunday, the Easter eggs had pictures of Christ and other religious pictures. We tried to do fun Easter activities on Saturday and religious Easter activities on Sunday.
Brooklyn also loved watching Easter videos about Christ. It was great weekend of being spiritually fed and spending time with family.
