15 Month Check Up

Brooklyn had her 15 month check up on Monday and it was a reminder of how fast little ones grow! I feel like she was just my little baby but then I blinked and she became independent toddler. It seems like she literally grew overnight. We usually think of Brooklyn has a petite and short, but then she started reaching drawers she wasn't reaching last week. After her doctor visit, we found out she is spot average for most everything but her head.

Here are Brooklyn's stats:
Weight: 21 lbs 10.5 oz (55% percentile)---Dr thinks she will be taller than her mom (yay!)
Height: 31" (61% percentile)
Head Circumference: 47 cm (82%)

Brooklyn is walking, jumping, spinning, climbing and dancing like a maniac! She loves everything that has to do with sign language. She can sign mom, dad, more, eat, please, water, all done, bath, ball and baby. She loves to watch movies about baby sign! She is saying Mommy, Daddy, eat, please, bath and Bozley. She loves to say Bozley! She loves her puppy and her favorite games is running off with his toys and hiding in the closest so he has to find her.

Brooklyn loves to eat! No one can eat anywhere in the vicinity of her without her asking to "eat" in the most pathetic voice. She will eat and eat and eat and eat some more! I have no idea where all that food goes, but she loves to eat. She will eat anything, which is great for us. She just loves to eat food and drink water. She won't touch milk but she enjoys a good smoothie.

Reading is another one of Brooklyn's favorite activities. She loves books and playing with balls. She also loves to play with her cousins and share snacks with them. She is so much fun and keeps us on our toes (especially when she mimics us!). She is such a blessing to our family!
