The Coming Home Outfit

The "Coming Home" outfit deserves a post of its own. When we first found out we were pregnant, my Mom went out and bought us a baby outfit. Not knowing the sex of the baby, she bought us a duck outfit. The outfit is so cute and, since it was the first baby outfit we owned, we decided to use that for Brooklyn's coming home outfit. However, Brandon was thrilled when we got Florida Gator socks from his sister and insisted that Brooklyn wear the socks. Not wanting the child to be unbalanced, I insisted on a Texas Longhorn beanie. Well. at the end of the day, her outfit didn't match and she sort of looks like a boy. However, that is how the "Coming Home" outfit evolved.
