Saying Good Bye to Our Little Friend

Cletus, our red ear slider, has been with us since we were just friends. Brandon bought him when he was the size of a quarter when we lived in Utah going to school. He has been with us through our full relationship, this far, and we have loved having him! With smaller space and more baby and dog, we had to say good bye to our little buddy. We found him a new home with young boys who will appreciate his great personality.

Cletus was an amazing pet (especially for a turtle)! He would follow us around the apartment and crawl all over anyone sitting near him on the floor. He would let us hand feed him and scratch his chin. He loved to have his tank in public areas and see what was going on in the apartment. He enjoyed rearranging his tank and chasing fish. He especially loved crab and shrimp! He was occasionally lazy but we enjoyed watching him doze off to sleep on his sunning rock and watching his head fall slowly into the water. We also loved watching his great poses while he slept. Whether it was a superman style sprawl while on his sunning rock or resting his rump on the water heater, he was anything but dull.We spoiled our turtle and loved having him as part of our family! We will definitely miss the little guy!
